None

Are you a newly graduated nursing student? Congratulations on completing the BSN course, you are one step closer to realizing your nursing career. Your job prospects are bright, and you have a variety of possibilities, including becoming a highly trained bedside nurse or continuing your education at a postgraduate level. If you want to practice nursing in Saudi Arabia or enroll in a postgraduate program, you must take the Saudi Nursing Licensure Examination (SNLE) at this point.

What Is SNLE?

The SNLE is a three-hour exam that determines whether or not you are ready to practice and/or pursue postgraduate training. There are 150 multiple-choice questions in total, including the ten pilot questions. It's a three-hour multiple-choice test with breaks. It is split into two parts, each with 75 questions and a 90-minute time limit. Between the two portions, there will be a 15-minute intermission. These questions contain four possible answers from which the contestant must choose one.

SNLE Application

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply for the Saudi Nursing Licensure Exam.

1. To begin, go to the SCFHS website, select E-Services from the drop-down menu, then Mumaris > Practitioners > Create Eligibility Number for Applicant from Outside KSA. Then, after reading the instructions, click the link at the bottom.

3. From here on out, the procedure is rather simple and straightforward. There's no need to fill out the Arabic language entries (ARA). Just make sure you complete in all of the required fields. There's also no need to worry about the Hijri dates (Islamic Calendar) because the site will generate them for you automatically. Click Proceed after you've reviewed your information.

4. SCFHS will then send you an activation link to your email address. Follow the steps by clicking the link. Finish filling out the forms and attaching the necessary papers.

5. Wait for their response. After you've successfully uploaded all of the required documents, you will receive an email. It contains two important numbers: one is your eligibility ID, and the other is the Data Flow Registration verification code.

Scheduling For The Exam

You can schedule your exam on either the Prometric website or through Pearson Vue. You will need to select your academic program and supply the information needed including your eligibility number. Choose your region and the date you wish to take the exam.

Preparing for the SNLE

For the exam, prepare diligently. The nursing department has designed comprehensive courses to help you prepare for the Saudi Nursing Licensing Exam (SNLE). Basic nursing, medical and surgical nursing, maternity and pediatric nursing, critical care nursing, psychiatric and mental health nursing, community nursing, leadership and management, and research and epidemiology are among the topics addressed in these preparation courses.

Important Points to Consider:

1. Avoid creating multiple accounts; you can only have one account with your email and phone number.
2. Please be patient while you wait for your eligibility number; it could take up to a month.
3. Please bring a printout of your confirmation letter and your ID on the day of the examination.
4. Currently, an applicant has three chances to pass the exam. If you don't pass the first two attempts, you can request SCFHS for reactivation of your eligibility number in order to have a third and final chance.
