PNLE TIPS FROM REVIEW PASSERS

Becoming a Registered Nurse is no easy feat—but with the right mindset, consistent effort, and a little help from those who have been in your shoes, you’ll find yourself one step closer to your dream. We asked some newly licensed RNs to share their heartfelt advice for future nurses gearing up for the Philippine Nurse Licensure Exam (PNLE), and their answers are worth gold. At 1NURSE, we believe in learning not just through modules and practice tests, but also through the lived experiences of successful passers. Here's what they had to say:

1. Don’t Overthink, Just Breathe

"My advice is to not overthink too much, because you may experience negative emotions which can actually affect your studies. If, for example, you get burned out from all the topics you need to cover in such a short amount of time, remember to take a deep breath and pray, always. Meditate if you can for just 5 minutes a day—this will strengthen your emotions and create a positive mindset toward your goal. During your review days, you should also enjoy the process. Use mnemonics and song lyrics you can find on TikTok or YouTube to make studying more fun. After your review each day, relax. Treat yourself with your comfort food. Mine was chocolate and hot soup or ramen. Lastly, always think positive thoughts and manifest success. Post your goals privately on your socials or on your study wall to stay motivated. You got this, fRN's!"

Kianah Reyes, RN

2. Stay Consistent and Focus on Understanding

"My advice for future nurses preparing for the PNLE is to stay consistent with your studies. Break down the material into manageable chunks and focus on understanding concepts rather than just memorizing. Practice as many mock exams as you can to get familiar with the test format. Most importantly, take care of yourself—get enough rest, eat well, and stay positive. You’ve got this, future RN!"

Clarence, RN

3. Rest is Productive Too

"Don’t push yourself too hard to the point where you'll break. Take a moment and breathe! Sleep and take care of yourself."

Germae V, RN

4. Trust in the Process

"Trust the process. Trust yourself and your preparation. Above all, trust God."

Ventricle, RN
