How to File for the November 2025 Nursing Licensure Exam: A Complete Guide for Future RNs

If you’re aiming to take the Nursing Licensure Exam (NLE) this November 2025, the time to prepare isn’t just about reviewing—it’s also about making sure your documents and application are complete. This guide walks you through the step-by-step process, requirements, and important deadlines for filing your application with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Important Dates to Remember

  • NLE Exam Dates: November 4 & 5, 2025 (Tuesday & Wednesday)

  • Start of Filing (Online Application): July 21, 2025

  • Deadline of Filing: September 22, 2025

  • Target Release of Results: On or before November 26, 2025

Testing centers are located nationwide—including NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Lucena, Pagadian, Zamboanga, and the newly added Lipa City.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the NLE, you must:

  • Be a Filipino citizen (or foreigner from a country with reciprocity agreement)

  • Be a graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a CHED-recognized institution

  • Be of good moral character

  • Have completed all RLE (Related Learning Experience) requirements

Requirements for First-Time Takers

Make sure to prepare both digital and printed copies of the following:

Digital (for online application via PRC LERIS)

  • Scanned copy of Transcript of Records (TOR) with scanned photo and “For Board Exam Purposes” remark

  • Scanned copy of PSA Birth Certificate

  • Scanned valid government-issued ID

  • Passport-style photo (white background, name tag, ears visible)

  • Active email address and contact number

Physical (to be submitted to PRC)

  • Printed Notice of Admission (NOA)

  • Two (2) passport-size photos (white background, name tag)

  • Original TOR and photocopy

  • Certificate of Undertaking (if TOR is incomplete upon filing)

  • Short brown envelope with your full name

  • Documentary stamp

  • Payment for exam fees (approx. ₱900–₱1,500)

For repeaters or those with changes in civil status, a marriage certificate and additional documentation may be required.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Process

STEP 1: Register via PRC LERIS

Visit https://online.prc.gov.ph, create an account, and complete your profile.

STEP 2: Schedule an Appointment

Choose your preferred PRC branch and appointment date for document submission.

STEP 3: Upload Documents

Upload your photo, TOR, ID, and other needed files.

STEP 4: Pay the Exam Fee

You can pay via PRC Cashier or online payment partners (GCash, Landbank, etc.).

STEP 5: Submit Physical Requirements

Go to your chosen PRC branch on your appointment date to submit documents and get your official Notice of Admission.

  2. Initial Registration: Schedule via PRC LERIS to receive your PRC ID (PIC) and Certificate of Registration

  3. Attend the Oath-Taking Ceremony: Online or onsite, depending on PRC schedule
